Notes from the trainer~ Rachael

Apollo is great to work with; he's brilliant and always ready to please.

December 1st-15th: Apollo is working on obedience lessons out in public at stores like Walmart and Home Depot. 

November 16th-December 1st: Apollo is working on settling on a place (dog bed) in the office with baby exposure, kitten exposure, and staff entering and exiting.

November 1-15th: Apollo is working on place lessons in the reception room, off-leash—the concept of going to a specific place and settling there.

October 16-31st: We are working on obedience lessons with a slip lead.

October 1st-15th: Apollo is working on obedience during field trips in stores, as well as going under chairs and tables, and saving space in public by lying down between the handler's legs.

September 15th-30th: Apollo is starting to work on walking at heel backward.

September 1st-15th: Apollo is sharpening his obedience skill sets, including Here, Heel, Sit, Crate, Down, and Place.

August 16th-30th: Apollo has been working on down stays with lots of distractions.

August 1-15th: Apollo has been working on his obedience skills out in public and in pet-friendly stores.

July 1-15th: We have been working on our down command.

June 16-30th: We are adding lots of distractions to our training here at the kennel and going out in public to do our obedience lessons.

June 1- 15th: We have been going out on field trips to Tractor Supply and local parks.

May 16-31st: We have been going out on fun walks and playing on the ponds on the warm days.

May 1- 15th: We have gone on a few small field trips and absolutely love getting all the attention in the stores.
April 16-30th: The pups are going out on group walks with gunfire and going out in the woods to jump over logs.
April 1-15th: The pups are eight weeks old and are working on socialization, begining outdoor adventures when weather permits and starting field trips
April 1st: The pups are now eating solid food. They have been enjoying their morning playtime in the reception room and visits from new people.
March 7th: The pups have started eating blended food "soup" and absolutely love it.
February 6th: Happy Birthday to the Maple x  Ted litter. Mom and Pups are doing great
