What is your dog eating, How Much, and When?

When your dog goes home he/ she will be eating around 3 cups of food a day ( if your dog is eating a different amount, we will go over this at pick up) It's important to know that this amount will change during your dog's lifetime. You will need to feed more or less as your dog gets older, based on their activity needs.

We normally feed in the morning around 7:30 am.

Under a year old: Nutri Source Large Breed Puppy
Over a year old: Nutri Source Adult Chicken and Rice

* We don't normally use gentle leaders but they can be exposed / trained with on request.

High Value Treats : Chicken , bacon and cheese

Favorite Toys: Tennis Balls, Kongs, soft frisbee,  bumpers, stuffed squeaky toys

If you are coming to pick up your dog for a vacation ( day trip, overnight, or weekend ), we will supply your dog with everything he/ she will need.
This includes : a dog crate, food bowls, toys, food, leash / ID collar and treats.

Flea, Tick, Heart Worm Prevention and Vaccination Information :

Prevention care is given on the first of each month.

We primarily use Revolution, Frontline, Sentinel, Seresto Collars, and Heartguard.

Please check with your veterinarian for recommended products for your area.

November 16th- 30th: your dog is continuing to work on obedience and home etiquette lessons, along with going on field trips to pet-friendly stores.

November 1st - 15th: Your pup is working on home etiquette lessons. Which include being relaxed while people pass through or leave and exit the room, vacuum running, and cupboards shutting.

October 16th-31st: Your pup is working on settling drills out in public.

October 1st-15th: Pups are working on their obedience out in public and pet-friendly stores. They enjoyed taking a walk around the lake and seeing all the wildlife.

September 15th-30th: Pups are working on down/stay with distractions. Along with Here, Heel, Sit with direction changes and movement drills.

September 1st- 15th: Pups are working on crate training and field trips to the local county fair.

August 16th-31st: Pups are working on place drills with bird and goat distractions.

August 1-15th: We are going out on field trips to pet-friendly stores and outdoor dining.

July 16-31st: Pups are going out for swimming lessons, playing ball, and enjoying evening walks.

July 1-15th: pups are working on obedience lessons and place lessons.
June 15-30th: Swimming lessons, field trips to local parks to play with kids, while working on obedience lessons

June 1-15th: Swimming lessons in creeks , streams and ponds. Adventures to the lake. Intro to obedience lessons continues around field trips

May 15th- 30th: Adventure walks in the woods with gunfire and exposure to fireworks. Sit, down, place, look and settle lessons continue each day around field trips to local pet-friendly stores

May 1-15th: Working on crate lessons, place lessons, sit lessons, intro to down as well as puppy field trips around town

April 15-30th: Baby puppy lessons of sit, and down as well as learning to " place" on the hammock for treats

April 1-15: The pups are enjoying short adventures and exploring their surroundings.

March 15-30th: Your pup is learning how to be a puppy. Their eyes and ears have been have been open for a while now. They have begun to eat meals and are beginning explore new things

March 1-15th: The litter is getting bigger.They are strong and healthy. Their favorite things to do are eat and nap.

February 26th: Happy birthday to the Maple x Jack litter.  Mom and pups are doing great.
