Your dog is eating 3 cups a day, in the morning. This amount will probably change throughout your dog’s lifetime.  You may need to feed more or less as your dog gets older.

Prevention care is given on the first of each month.

We primarily use Revolution, Frontline, Sentinel, Seresto Collars, and Heartguard.

Please check with your veterinarian for recommended products for your area.

Oct1-15th:Hold and intro into force fetch

Sept1-30th: Hold and obedience lessons

August 21-August 30th: Gun Dog Training: Introduced to gun dog obedience, overview on here, heel and sit. With the addition of ” whistle sit” Introduced to table work and intro to hold.

 

Sept 1-15th: field trips, car rides and obedience lessons around the Edinboro University

August 16- August 31: Pups are going on car rides around town and exploring new places. 

August 1- August 15: Pups are working on down stays.

 July 16-July 31: Pups are continuing to work on obedience lessons and taking field trips into town.

July 1- July 15: Pups are working on obedience lessons and place lessons. 

June 15-June 30th: Light obedience lessons, adventure walks in the woods with gunfire, small fireworks at a distance away, sit lessons , field trips to tractor supply

June 1-15th: Pups are working on light intro to obedience and continuing to work on sitting with a leash on.

May 16th-31st: The pups have gone on their first field trip to Tractor Supply and working on sitting with a leash.

May 1-15th: The pups are working on sit lessons, down and place . Using a clicker to mark the desired behavior and a treat for a reward. As a group, they are going on long walks in the woods, fields and around the ponds. During this walk they are also exposed to gunfire and are working on their recall whistle lessons.

 

April 25, 2023: The pups are working on their intro to puppy sit lessons, going on puppy adventure walks, and will have their first vaccinations next Tuesday. Once they have their first round of vaccinations, they are ready to have visitors. Please note that visits should be planned around picking your pup up for the day or weekend vacations. We are a working preserve and training ground for hunting trials. On-site visits are limited; it is strongly encouraged that you pick your puppy up for a weekend vacation.
