What is your dog eating, How Much, and When?

When your dog goes home he/ she will be eating around 3 cups of food a day ( if your dog is eating a different amount, we will go over this at pick up) It's important to know that this amount will change during your dog's lifetime. You will need to feed more or less as your dog gets older, based on their activity needs.

We normally feed in the morning around 7:30 am.

Under a year old: Nutri Source Large Breed Puppy
Over a year old: Nutri Source Adult Chicken and Rice

If you are coming to pick up your dog for a vacation ( day trip, overnight, or weekend ), we will supply your dog with everything he/ she will need.
This includes : a dog crate, food bowls, toys, food, leash / ID collar and treats.

Flea, Tick, Heart Worm Prevention and Vaccination Information :

Prevention care is given on the first of each month.

We primarily use Revolution, Frontline, Sentinel, Seresto Collars, and Heartguard.

Please check with your veterinarian for recommended products for your area.

March 1-15th: We are working on obedience lessons in town and pet-friendly store. 

February 16- 29th: Your pup is working on down stays with distractions.

February 1-15: Working in field trips in town, car rides, working obedience lessons in Erie

January 15-30th: training in town and taking car rides in crate . working on obedience at the edinboro mall

 January 1-15th: We are working on intro to " look" lessons, to teach your dog to maintain eye contact and look for direction. Other lessons that we are working on are: crate, place, sit and down.

December 15-30th: Your pup is working on obedience lessons at the training center, in town and on field trips.

December 1-15th: the pups are continuing to work on intro to obedience and going over obstacles in the training center. 

November 15th-30th: into to heel and leash work, sit lessons, crate lessons, adventure walks outside when weather permits and inside play when the weather is bad,

November 7th: We went on our first field trip to tractor supply today. 

October 15th-30th: Adventure walks outside with gunfire, crate training, fun retrieves with puppy toys, sit lessons and place lessons

October 1-15th: temperament testing with new people, loud noises ( vacuums, dropped pans etc)

Sept 15th-30th: the pups are being introduced to new noises ,flooring and cats

Sept 15th: the pups eyes and ears are open and they are starting   to explore their surrounding  

Sept 1, 2023: Pups are doing great. Their eyes and ears should be open at two weeks of age.

August 24, 2023: Happy Birthday ! Maple gave birth to 11 health chunky pups today. Dam and children are doing great.
